About Treated Flame Retardant Fabric
- Cotton and Cotton rich fabrics are treated with PROBAN chemicals and subsequently ammonia cured to make Treated Flame Retardant fabric.
- When exposed to flame,FR fabrics form an insulating char which stays in place and helps protect the wearer.
- FRfabrics do not smoulder, have no afterglow, do not melt and the flame doesn’t spread outside the charred area.
- These fabrics are durable and certified as per ISO 11612, ISO 11611 from BTTG (UK) and STFI (Germany)
TFR Coveralls/Uniforms manufactured by ALKE Fire Protection are made up of Arvind Mill FR fabric who is only licensed manufacturer of PROBAN® treated Flame Retardant fabrics and garments in India.
